Mapquest for personalized directions. Put
in the address
you're leaving from and the Sheraton address: 110 Vanderbilt
Motor Parkway, (also known as Motor Parkway), Smithtown, NY
11788.
Via Northern State
Parkway (*NO TRUCKS allowed on the Northern State)
Take Northern State Parkway East to exit 43. Make a left at the
stoplight onto
Vanderbilt Motor Parkway (sometimes just called Motor Parkway on signs).
Follow
about 1.5 miles and the Sheraton is on the left.
Eastbound: Take the LIE/Route 495 to Exit 53/Wicks Road. Continue parallel with
the Expressway 1/2 mile and follow the Wicks Road sign off the ramp down to the
traffic light. Turn left onto Wicks Road under the Expressway and turn right at the
next light onto Vanderbilt Motor Parkway (sometimes just called Motor Parkway on
signs.) The Sheraton is 150 yards ahead on your left.
Westbound: Take the LIE/Route 495 to Exit 53/Wicks Road. Exit first right off the
service road to the light at Vanderbilt Motor Parkway (sometimes just called Motor
Parkway on signs.) The Sheraton is just ahead on your left.
From Manhattan: Mid Town Tunnel to Long Island Expressway (I-495 East). Follow
directions above for Long Island Expressway Eastbound.
From Westchester and Connecticut
Whitestone or Throgs Neck Bridge to Cross Island Parkway South. Follow signs to
Long Island/Long Island Expressway (I-495). Take Long Island Expressway
Eastbound, directions above.
From Southern New Jersey / Pennsylvania
Cross the Verrazanno Bridge (stay far left) to the Belt Parkway East, which turns into
the Southern State Parkway (via a left lane exit) to Exit 41A - left lane (Sagtikos
Parkway North) to Exit S1E to Long Island Expressway (I-495 East). Follow directions
above for Long Island Expressway Eastbound.
From Northern New Jersey
Cross the George Washington Bridge and continue East to the Throgs Neck Bridge.
Get off the Throgs Neck Bridge and take the Cross Island Parkway South to Grand
Central Parkway East, which becomes the Northern State Parkway. Follow directions
for Northern State above.
From Port Jefferson Ferry
If you're coming from Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachussets or points north,
consider taking the ferry from Bridgeport, Conn. to Port Jefferson, Long Island and
then driving to the Sheraton. Click here for the ferry schedule.
From Long Island
