I used a piece of watercolor paper and dabbed it with copper Lumiere paint then used Verdigris embossing powder
and embossed it with a heat gun.
I took a black Zig pen and outlined the paper. I then used a piece of mauve quilted paper and out lined it with a gold
pen. I stamped Tatiana from Stampsmith's Russian plate in black permanent ink on glossy white cardstock and I
lightly tinted her with watercolors.
I rolled a snake of red polymer clay and formed it to fit around the stamped image freestyle. I took an old jewel
box that had floral accents and buttons on it and used it to make an imprint in the clay. I then used pigment
powders in various metallic shades and dusted the red clay. I rolled a ball of clay out and used a rose shaped button
to imprint in to it. I used this to cover the ends where the clay met in the bottom corner of the clay frame and
baked the clay as per the instructions on the package.
I added a butterfly button and a pink heart button to the piece. I stamped Tatiana on a small piece of quilting
metal and layered it to a small piece of leather look paper in black. I attached them with two black eyelets.

Create portfolio by starting from the inside. Score green, gold-speckled cardstock to create matchbook-style
portfolio, making a 1/2 inch in-folded flap at the right, and then a doubled-score (1/4 inch apart) at the center of
the folded piece, as viewed from the inside. Staple the first, scored flap close to the fold. Round the portfolio’s
left corners. Round the corners of the 1 X 3 1/2 inches scrap of embossed gold cardstock, score down the length
at center, and adhere over stapled flap. Stamp “Nicholas” in olive green on this piece as shown. Placing right sides
of green embossed cardstock squares together, cut a wavy, diagonal line to create matching pockets for the inside
of the portfolio. Tape to either side of center fold at sides and bottom to attach pockets. Outline swan lake oval
picture with black paint pen and glue to left pocket. Write “AP” in script with black gel pen on small round
Nostalgique sticker tag and apply to pocket. Cut out sepia clip art photos of girls and glue to right portfolio pocket.
Trim a 4 3/4 inch length of metallic mesh wired ribbon (save scrap) and tuck into right pocket like a bookmark.
To create the portfolio cover, stamp oval portrait on ivory glossy cardstock and trim out with lacy edge scissors.
Layer to corner rounded scrap of green, gold-speckled cardstock. Use seagull punch on the corners of the
embossed gold cardstock piece and insert portrait into photo corners. Layer to sage green specialty paper with
eyelette punched corners. Adhere layered pieces to front of portfolio. Embellish with shield button and emerald
faux jewel as shown.
Create four tags to tuck into inner pockets. (1) Angels Tag: Trim the gold tag with lacy edged scissors at top and
bottom, saving bottom cut. Glue on scrap art Angels and embellish with ivory ribbon and aqua vinyl jewel.
(2) Alexandra Tag: Glue floral tissue wrap with text over ivory tag and trim neatly. Using the portrait stamp, ink
only the woman and stamp twice on tag in StazOn black as shown. Stamp “Alexandra” in the same ink. Embellish
with gold trimming from (1) at bottom, blue jewel and tiny floral scrapbooking stickers. Thread and knot gold yarn
in flower button and glue to tag at hole, backing the hole with metallic mesh ribbon scrap. (3) Russian Smoker Tag:
Glue the yellow smoker ad from Russian clip art sheet to ivory tag. Trim to fit tag and punch hole. Thread hole with
sheer teal ribbon. (4) Russian Royal Tag: Glue clip art of Russian royalty to an ivory tag. Rip out portion of red
smoking ad from the same sheet and glue to tag as shown. Over the clip art, glue torn sections of text from floral
tissue paper. Trim papers neatly to tag and outline in gold paint pen. Punch out hole and thread with black-edged,
metallic gold ribbon. Glue on emerald jewel at upper left. Tuck tags 1 and 2 into the left portfolio pocket, and tags
3 and 4 into the right, allowing ribbons to trail out the top. To close portfolio, tuck front cover into the stapled
fold.

Stamp the Duchesses rubber stamp image onto the off-white coated cardstock using Amaretto Truffle Fresco
Chalk ink. Trim the image close using deckle-edge scissors.
Scrunch up a large piece of plastic wrap. Put a small amount of bleach into a small saucer and have a paper towel
handy. Lightly dab the scrunched up plastic into the bleach, just so it touched the top of the scrunches. Dab any
excess off onto the paper towel and then lightly tap the plastic onto the dark brown cardstock. Go very light with
the bleach; you only want some slight marks. Do this same procedure with the rust cardstock. Throw the bleach
plastic wrap away. Scrunch up another piece of plastic wrap and do the same technique only using Amaretto Truffle
Fresco Chalk ink onto the almond text weight paper. Make at least a half of sheet of paper for this, as you need to
print the word onto it as well as use it for background.
Run the Almond text weight paper thru your printer to print the word SISTERS sing a pretty font. Trim the
letters close. Color the jewelry tags with Amaretto Truffle Fresco Chalk ink using a sponge. Glue the letters to
the tags as shown using a glue stick. Trim a piece of the almond text weight paper to roughly 4"x 1 1/8" using a pair
of deckle edged scissors. Shade the edges with Amaretto Truffle Fresco Chalk ink and a sponge. Glue the tags in
place on this paper using a glue stick. Punch holes thru the holes in the tags using a 1/8" hole punch. Attach the mini
gold brads thru the holes, and bend the ends to secure them toe the paper.
Tear a piece of the Almond text weight paper to roughly 4 3/4"x 3" Shade the edges with Amaretto Truffle
Fresco Chalk ink and a sponge. Cut the dark brown cardstock roughly to 3 7/8"x 2 1/8". Glue the stamped photo
image of the duchesses onto this cardstock using a glue stick. Layer this panel onto the center of the torn almond
text weight paper panel using a glue stick or a cold adhesive machine. Cut the rust cardstock roughly to 5 1/4"x 5".
Shade the edges with India Ink Black permanent ink using a sponge. Layer the Duchesses panel onto the upper part
of the rust cardstock using a glue stick. Layer the tags panel to the lower part of the rust cardstock using a glue
stick.
Fold the black cardstock so that you have a finished card that measures 5 3/4"x 5 1/2". Apply adhesive to the
back of the rust panel with the cold adhesive machine. Layer this panel into the center of the black prepared card.

1. Stamp both images onto a cd rom using Black Stazon Inkpad. Allow ink to dry for a couple of minutes. 2. Once ink is dry; cut out the section of the image you wish to use using sharp scissors, go along with edges of the
cd piece using gold leafing pen and set aside for later use.
3. Take the plastic ice cream lid, and onto the surface apply a small dot of each of the 4 Lumiere colour paints
specified in a row. You only need a tiny bit.
4. Take the fake plastic credit card, and dip the edge into the row of paint, hold the jigsaw piece in your other
hand, and quickly drag the credit card across the jigsaw to apply and move the paint. Set aside to dry.
5. Apply colour to the stamped cd piece using Adironrak Pens, I used cranberry for the dress and butterscotch for
the face. You do not need to apply a lot of ink; I applied a small dot of colour and used my finger tip to drag the
colour across the cd piece to give a subtle shade. 6. Once the Jigsaw is dry, press a versamark inkpad onto the surface, and apply a layer of clear embossing powder.
Place onto a sheet of non stick baking parchment.
7. Heat to melt, apply another layer of clear embossing powder, heat once more, and apply a final layer of clear
embossing powder and heat. In all you want 3 layers of clear embossing powder.
8. Next working very quickly, before the 3rd layer cools down, press the cd piece into the molten embossing
powder to seal it onto the jigsaw.
9. Sprinkle on a generous layer of clear embossing powder over the entire embellishment and heat once more, then
sprinkle gold wonder beads around the edges. Set aside to cool.
10. Once cooled, go round the edges using a silver leafing pen, let dry. Affix a self adhesive pin back to the reverse, your pin is complete.
