Arabian Ornaments
#2
Price per
unmounted plate: $21
This is my friend
Adrienne
Burns wearing her Arabian Nights stamped shirt that she made especially
to
show off at the New Jersey stamp show! What a surprise when Adrienne
sauntered
up to our booth in her lovely outfit.
Glenda Waterworth
made these two richly colored cards with stamps from the Arabian Nights
plate.
This is
how Glenda made the card at right: "This one's done with a blitzer! I
stamped the cartouche,
enlarged it slightly on the photocopier, cut it out and used it as a mask
to blitz around.
Then I blitzed
over the whole thing with three different shades of blue to make it a bit
more subtle. I stamped the
cartouche on turquoise cardstock, then painted the border
round the edge with peacock Radiant
Pearls and
embossed with clear embossing powder. Layered the whole thing up and
popped a shrunk
version in the middle!"
Jane Change used
Arabian Ornaments 1, above left, to fashion a stamped rug. Above right
and below left, Deb Wickum stamped images from Arabian Ornaments 2 in
repeating patterns to make eye-catching creations.
